Fire marshals are asking installers to use this life and time saving device. It will open any manufacturer's gate "hands-free". The siren of the fire truck or other emergency vehicle is all that is needed to signal this unique SOS unit. It is the owner's obligation to provide access for emergency equipment, it must be periodically tested and confirmed operational.
The SOS is designed for non-directional use at gated compounds. Audio range: ten to one hundred feet (dial adjustable). These units are mounted in an all weather enclosure (3x6x2 inches). Special discounts for dealers and multiple orders. Full instructions are sent with the SOS, including an all weather "FIRE, EMS, POLICE, hold sirens' YELP for SOS entry" decal to place at the controlled site. A demo "yelp" tape is also sent with all orders

Siren-Operated Sensors announces the release of the latest model in its SOS® series, the SOS® VIII. Like earlier SOS® versions, the SOS® VIII is a reliable, cost effective way for emergency vehicles to open automated gates quickly with their sirens.

This latest model, however, offers several key improvements over its predecessors. An upgraded processor provides for a more accurate signal read, thus improving siren detection and response. A redesigned sensitivity dial and changes to the dip switches makes it easier than ever to adjust the unit’s sensitivity and the length of time the gate remains open. An external reset button has been added for the owner’s convenience, eliminating the need to open the protective case to reset the unit.

Those installing the SOS® VIII will appreciate improved installation instructions. A CD used to test the unit for siren sensitivity is now housed in the new packaging rather than being shipped and stored as a separate item.

Fire/Police/EMS/911 responders, open gates with Siren's "Yelp" in 2.5 seconds (all sirens in 4.5), hands free…No codes to remember or keys to lose. A reminder decal on the gate tells responder to hold siren on for swift entry.
Gate Owners pay only $498 for safety and peace of mind!!! Mandate that your gated communities be uniformly 911 "respondable". Tens of thousands now in use! Compatible with all gate operators. Protects property and loved ones. Pass the good word. Homeowners who are gone when the fire breaks out will be glad you did.

SOS makes ALL gates 911 accessible!
